Well, I'm back after a long absence.  Let's see what have I been up to? Well the two main reasons that I've been neglecting my artwork is that I'm in the process of writing a novel (about Beethoven) and I have a brand new band (call Vivid Amnesia...look us up on facebook!).   I've also been leading worship at my church's Sunday morning Chapel Service for about a year now, and really enjoying it. Thankfully, I've been finding the time to work on some art lately, and I've found some new inspiration now that I have a beautiful new tablet (Wacom intuos4, which I HIGHLY recommend) and several new programs to try out (Sketchbook, Corel Painter, P

I've been neglecting my painting for a while due to my very busy schedule, but I have uploaded a few of the drawings from my sketchbook.  I really need to clean & organize my art studio so that I can get back into the habit of working & painting on a daily basis. We had no internet for a couple of months, but I'm happy to say that I'm back and now with high speed! I would like to thank everyone who has added my owl painting "The Road Less Traveled" to their favorites and collections.  It is one of my favorite paintings that I've ever done, and I think its gotten more +favs than any of my other pieces, so far. -H.K.
